ABOUT GARTON ON THE WOLDS

Garton on the Wolds is a village and civil parish on the Yorkshire Wolds in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It is situated approximately 3 miles (4.8km) north west of Driffield town centre and lies on the A166 road.

The civil parish is formed by the village of Garton on the Wolds and the hamlet of Elmswell. With reference to the 2001 UK census, Garton parish has a population of around 299.
